Indus Valley Civilization (Harappa)

 

The Dravidian linguistic elements have been found in Indus Valley Civilization (IVC). Due to this, some believe that IVC had a proto Dravidian language and when IVC declined (around 1900 BC), some people moved towards southwards and formed the Dravidian language. However it's also believed that IVC language is related to other linguistic families or are just symbolic markers.

Worship of the mother goddess, scared animals, people tree signs are common in both civilizations. That's why it's believed that they had some connection with Dravidian but were not part of each other at the time of IVC.

IVC had not Aryan (steppe) ancestry. Indo-Aryan arrived here after 2000 BC. IVC and South Asian populations share some of the same genes.

70K years ago Homo sapiens arrived in Asia. Some inhabited south Asia i.e. South India as Hunter-Gatherers between 65K-10K years ago. From Arica, some inhabited Iran as Farmers around 7K years ago. They both met and built IVC (3300-1300 BC).

Dravidians were the descendants of these Hunter gatherers. Today's Dravidians have these South Asian, Iranian Farmers and Indo-Aryan genes as well (later mixes up in North). Sindhis are mixture of IVC and Indo-Aryans.

There is a particular gene called R-M124, found in one percent of Ashkenazi Jews. The question arises: how did the R-M124 gene get into the Ashkenazi Jews? A study by Sanghamitra Sahoo points out that there is a high concentration of the R-M124 gene among the Karmalis of West Bengal (100 percent), Kshatriyas of Jaunpur (87 percent), and the Yadav community in Bihar (50 percent). This suggests a strong presence in eastern India. It is hypothesized that when the Indus Valley declined around 1500 BCE, the Yadavas, who lived there and had the R-M124 gene, migrated to Israel. Simultaneously, some migrated to eastern India. This explains the presence of the R-M124 gene in both these regions.

अब तो नई तहक़ीक़ सामने आ रही है। IIT प्रोफेसर भारत झुनझुनवाला रिसर्च कर रहे हैं और दावा कर रहे हैं कि यहूदियों के खोये हुए 12 कबीलों में से एक कबीला भारत के यादव हैं। यहूदियों ने गाय का बछड़े की मूरत को बना कर परम्परा के तौर पूजा था। यादवों में गाय को पूजनीय माना जाता है, हमेशा से गौ पालक भी हैं। यादवों का कृष्ण से गहरा नाता है। कृष्ण और मूसा अलैह. की कहानी में बेहद समानता है। कृष्ण अवतार है। हालांकि यादव ये बात सुनकर नाराज़ हो जाते हैं। वैसे भारतीय लोग हमेशा से ही तथ्यों से ज़्यादा परम्परा पर ज़ोर देने वाले हैं। शायद DNA रिसर्च के बाद ही पुख्ता तौर पर कुछ कहा जा सकता है।
