John 1:19-21: (John the Baptist Denies Being the Messiah) Now this was John’s testimony when the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem sent priests and Levites to ask him who he was. He did not fail to confess, but confessed freely, I am not the Messiah. They asked him, Then who are you? Are you Elijah? He said, I am not. Are you the/that Prophet? He answered, No.
Deuteronomy 18:15: The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your fellow Israelites. You must listen to him.
Deuteronomy 18:18–19: I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee (Moses), and will put my words in his mouth and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
[Israel’s brethren are the descendants of Ishmael, the brother of Isaac. Both were sons of Abraham. Therefore, this points to a Prophet from the Ishmaelite line or the Arabs. Muhammad resembled Moses more than Jesus. Both were complete lawgivers through Torah & Quran and political leaders. Both married, had children, fought wars and ruled nations. Jesus did not claim kingship or bring a new law. Muhammad literally spoke the revelation as it was revealed to him. Qul meaning Say: appears over 300 times in Quran].
John 14:16–17: And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever.
[Greek word used here is Parakletos meaning the Comforter or the Advocate. Some early Muslim scholars argued that it was originally Periklutos meaning the Praised One, which is close to Ahmad, another name of Muhammad mentioned in the Quran].
John 14:26: But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
John 15:26: When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father—he will testify about me.
Quran 61:6:And remember when Jesus, son of Mary, said: O Children of Israel, I am the messenger of Allah unto you, confirming what was before me of the Torah, and bringing good tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad.
John 16:7–13: But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Comforter/Advocate will not come to you but if I go, I will send him to you. When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment: about sin, because people do not believe in me; about righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; and about judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned. I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
[The Comforter is described as he and not as it, implying a person, not a spirit].
Isaiah 42:1–11: Behold my servant, whom I uphold, mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth... He shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles... Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit... [Servant means Abdullah, as Muhammad is called. Judgment to the Gentiles means New law for non-Jews. Kedar was a descendant of Ishmael and his people settled in Arabia — direct connection to Muhammad].
