Initially Islam or Quran has not presented it's view on Cigarette. Because tobacco was grown in America and earlier, it was not smoked but consumed through vaporization. Europeans brought it to the other parts after 15th century. In India, it was first gifted to Emperor Jahangeer.
No ayat of Quran makes it Haram and which is not Haram, is absolutely Halal. Smoking is as much haram as Paan and Tea or Coffee. Smoking is as much halal as sugar for diabetes patient and oil for heart patient.
Smoking aapki sehat ke liye utni hi khatarnak hai jitni Colddrink. Aur jitna chewing tobacco, gaming, comics or Godi media aapke waqt aur zehan ke liye hai.
Smoking doosre logo aur environment ko utna hi nuksaan pahunchati hai jitna Bikes par faltu me ghumna pahunchta hai. Aur smoking aapke jism ko bike stunts karne se bhi zyada nuksan pahuncha sakti hai.
Quran has prohibited Khamr which means intoxication. Intoxication can be any food, drink, smoke etc. which makes you lose your senses. Smoking doesn't do so. Nicotine in cigarette is just a habit like caffeine in Coffee or Tea. Quran has also prohibited Lahwal Hadis means unnecessary talks or excessive of something. It has also prohibited extravagance.

First thing hemoglobin is found in blood and blood of all animals is haram, not only of pigs. The usage of blood in the cigarette filter does not mean it ultimately becomes part of your food because it doesn't go in your stomach or in the body through tongue. If any haram thing of food becomes something else under any process or is transformed into a different kind by leaving its natural elements or qualities, then that will not be haram. All cigarette companies use this blood, this is not an established finding. We have no information about what else we are consuming in our daily life in which pig parts have been used. Various social media messages are viral blaming many things made of pig but we don't know the truth. However, non-smoking is better in every situation but its not prohibited.
